Book Club

Reading has always been one of my favorite ways to escape reality for a couple hours. Whenever I am relaxing and there’s spotty wifi, I use that as an excuse to pull out a book and submerge myself in a new adventure.

A little back story—english is my second language, I actually learned it when I was 13 years old by locking myself in the local library all Summer and devouring all the books I could find, as well as watching movies with subtitles while jotting down the words I didn’t understand.

Whenever someone asks who taught me how to understand english I give them the same answer: JK Rowling. I’ve always been a Harry Potter nerd and one of the ways that helped me learn this language was by translating all the Harry Potter book from Spanish to English... commitment, I know. I later found out I was learning the British way, not the American way!

I now mainly read books to improve my marketing skills and mental health. However, from time to time I’ll give a popular novel or an autobiography a try.

Separated by genres; I’ve listed below my favorite books and some that are currently in my to-read list:

Autobiography | Memoir

  • Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone — J. K. Rowling

  • Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets — J. K. Rowling

  • Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban — J. K. Rowling

  • Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire — J. K. Rowling

  • Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix — J. K. Rowling

  • Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince — J. K. Rowling

  • Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows — J. K. Rowling
