Fall 2018 Style Guide
Now that New York Fashion Week is officially over let’s get down to business and discuss this year’s fall trends that are taking over the streets, social media and your bank account:
WILD THANG:
The streets are turning into a wild animal park and I am all about it! From leopard, zebra, or cheetah—if you have some sort of animal print clothing or accessory be sure to prep it to go out and play!
WESTERN VIBES:
These boots are made for walking—or for watching a Tim Burton marathon while sipping on a PSL latte. Cowboy boots are officially in and it’s not even Stagecoach Season!
RED:
The color of passion and romance… Need I say more?
SUPER SIZE MY OUTERWEAR:
The bigger and puffier, the better. When it comes to outerwear exaggeration is key!
BACK TO THE FUTURE:
Who would’ve thought Zenon Kar would become a fashion icon today? If you don’t know who she is please do yourself a favor, stop living under a rock, and google her. During this fall think sci-fi feels, holograms, and metallics!
DOWN TO EARTH TONES:
If you ever feel like toning down your style, down to earth tones are the perfect way to do so. Minimalism is in!
HONORING THE 80s:
The decade where pleather, fringe, and bold shoulders ruled the world is officially back and here to stay!
LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE:
Laura Ingalls Wilder vibes all around but make it fashion.
THERE AIN’T NO PARTY LIKE A GARDEN PARTY:
Flower prints for fall? Groundbreaking. Call yourself Miranda Priestly and rock this trend this season!
LOGOMANIA BAGS:
Do you want to know where my bag is from? The brand name is on it.
COWRIE SHELLS:
Close your eyes: Throw yourself back to a childhood family vacation, picture your young-self facing the ocean while getting your hair braided, a lady selling jewelry by the beach approaches you, and you manage to convince your mom to buy you the cowrie necklace you’ve been dying to own.
Yep, that’s right. If you live close to the coast, this classic vacation staple accessory is a must have this season!
SUIT UP:
To all the money move making boss ladies, this trend is for you! From the office, dinner, or brunch—you can now rock your business wear all day long!
BELT BAGS:
As time passes, belt bags are becoming more of a staple in everyone’s wardrobe.
Have a night out planned with your friends but don’t feel like carrying around a clutch? Spice up your outfit with a belt bag!

FUR:
Fur, or in my case faux fur, is back to keep you warm and cozy through this windy season.
DENIM SETS:
The limit does not exist when it comes to denim this season—the more, the merrier!
TRANSPARENT/SHEER:
Transparent, barely there… if you can see through it, it’s in.
PLAID:
We’re giving Cher Horowitz, the queen of plaid, another season to shine. This is personally one of my favorite trends since I’ve always wanted to incorporate some prep into my boho-chic style.
FRESH KICKS:
All the other kids with the fresh kicks you are all good for fall since your shoes are trending!
